White Charcoal or BINCHOTAN is wood charcoal that is much higher quality than normal charcoal. Some of the outer surfaces of the charcoal are white, similar to the color of ash. Therefore, they are called white charcoal.
The charcoal inside is shiny black and won't stick to your hands. If the coals were knocked together, they would produce a resonant sound like the sound of metal clashing. It also has conductive properties as well.
